Meeting
(Discussion)
Consideration has been given to dissolving our Corporate standing. This
would only effect the possibility of federal funding to preservation
of SC trails….(thus far, we have not received any). In the event
SC shows interest in initiating funds of this type in the future, we
will consider reinstating our corporate status.
(Leadership Changes)
In light of everyone's busy schedules….
Consideration was given to a "3 Key Person" leadership for
our club. The idea is to lessen the responsibilities to just one or
two persons. Some position ideas were discussed,….."Trail
Boss", "PR Team" and of course "Treasurer".
Tripp has graciously offered his expertise to train anyone interested
in maintaining the Webpage. If you are interest in filling any of these
positions, please be at the February meeting. As it stands,
Jeff Spivey will be our Trail Boss, and Tripp will continue as Treasurer.
Dave Shaffer has offered to help with the Public Relations.

Your club membership fees are due.
Please contact Tripp to get them taken care of. Failure to do so by
February. 1st can result in being dropped from the roster.
If you would like to join Southern at this late date, Tripp has applications
so
you can mail it in yourself.
