January’s Meeting
First order of business was to find another meeting place. Fatz café in Easley
(off Hwy 123) will be the new TNT meeting place. They have two boardrooms
and plenty of room. The meeting time has not changed; it will still be the first
Sunday of the month at 3:00p.m. except for July and October. July and October
will be the second Sunday of the month due to the 4th of July weekend and Dixie
Run in October
New officers were voted in. Congratulations to the following:
· Jeff Spivey – Trail Boss
· Bob Jackson – Secretary/Treasurer
· Jim Berliner– Public Relations
TNT would like to thank Tripp for his many years of service and contributions to
the club. Tripp is taking a well-deserved break but will still an active part of the club.
Last meeting TNT decided that each member would provide the extra $10 dues for
SFWDA and continued support. If you have not paid the extra $10, please make
arrangements with either Bob Jackson or JimThe Anderson 4-wheel Jamboree will be April 26-27. The last couple Jamboree’s
TNT has supplied much needed manpower in exchange for a club contribution.
TNT has already been approached to help out with the Jamboree. We will need
some “firm” volunteers to help work the track and technical inspection area.
Details will be coming very soon.
Many of the visitors to Gulches have started a “Rock Fund” in order to raise
money to help Skip gravel/rock the parking area. Next time you visit Gulches
please kick in a few bucks – remember this is the only legal wheeling area with
80 miles. The new “talk of the trails” at Gulches is the Trick N Traction rock
garden – check it out at Gulches
A guest won the 50/50 raffle, which helps out Rocky Bottom Camp of the Blind

· March 8th trail clean-up at Tellico
· April 10 - 13 Weekend at Tellico
· April 25 – 27 4 Wheel Jamboree at the Anderson Fairgrounds

January 19 Meet at Holly Springs store (Hwy 178 and Hwy
11) at 10:00. We will go the Camp for Blind, meet the new operators
