We had a decent turnout to the August meeting at Buffalo's. Carolina Driveline is sponsoring a 4x4 Fest at the
Piedmont Interstate Fairgrounds in Spartanburg on Saturday, August 14th from 11 to 3. The gates open at 9am.
The events planned are car crushing trucks, rock crawling, ATV sled pull and a Show-n-Shine competition.
Tracy has been in touch with Carolina Driveline and has offered the assistance of the club. As of August 1st,
Carolina Driveline did not know where they needed help yet. Please keep August 14th free so that you can be
available to volunteer. Foothills 4x4 is also a sponsor for this event. If you have any questions you can contact
Foothills 4x4 at (864) 235-1144 or Carolina Driveline at (864) 597-1916.

We are still investigating a screenprinter that can make our club shirts. The best deal that we have found so far
is Davis Inc. with a $25 set up fee plus $10 per color. The will charge $10 per shirt. The club decided that we
would only order one style of shirt. The majority of the club preferred a pocketed shirt so we will investigate
other places for better shirt prices. Please contact Tripp if you know somewhere else that would give us a better shirt.

The club cookout is scheduled for August 21, 2004 at the Bryant lake house. The club has agreed to purchase
the hotdogs and hamburgers. The club members need to provide their own drinks and bring part of the other
fixings. Diane Close is organizing this event so please contact her at 895-7653 to let her know what you are
bringing. The following members have committed to these items: Aaron - dessert; Melissa - chips & dip;
Daniel - hot dog buns and hamburger buns; Tracy - pork & beans

At the last ride, some of our members found out they were on private property and were considered as
trespassing. The caretaker was very nice and allowed them to continue to ride. They only allow ATV's on
the property. Hush Hole is also closed. Due to the fact, that we have no place to ride. No ride is scheduled
but if someone knows where we can ride, call around to get a ride started.

Dave Shaffer announced that he is working long shifts and is trying to get some work done on his ride.
If you are interested in helping him on a Sunday, he has pledged food and his undying appreciation.
Please call him at 220-5275.

Next Meeting - September 12th at 3:00 pm at Buffalo's on Haywood Rd.
